These algorithms find mistakes in proteins and recommend fixes. 20% - 50% of our mutations increase performance. Other targeted mutagenesis approaches lead with protein physics or amino acid linguistics, but we lean on mature algorithms in computer vision. Computer vision works as well on pictures of proteins as it does on cats and dogs. We are experts commanding a portfolio of these algorithms trained on 3D images of protein chemistry.

Protein Vision Solutions

periam's computer vision algorithms know what chemical spatial patterns normally surround each amino acid in a folded protein.

Algorithmic Protein Analysis

Surprisingly, we find that about three percent of the amino acids in a natural protein don't sit well in their folded context and that these amino acids are hidden from traditional sequence and energetics analyses.
